“Kamon” is located in a quiet residential area. You can spend a comfortable and breathing time in a traditional townhouse “Kyo-machiya” in Kyoto. Though Kamon is an old Japanese house with a small Japanese garden, it has modern conveniences, such as the dining room with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a restroom. And this house is certified as a “Kyo-machiya” by Kyoto City. The Kamo River and its riverside are within 2 minutes on foot.

Because only one group is acceptable at a time, you can use the facilities just like your own house. For additional people, from 4,000 to 5,000 yen will be charged per person. In case of a stay for several days, the discount fee will be applied.

From Kyoto Station, take the subway Karasuma Line and get off at Kuramaguchi Station (12 minutes) or Kitaoji Station (13 minutes). Kamon is approximately 800m from these stations.

From Kitaoji Bus Terminal, which is adjacent to Kitaoji Station, there are direct buses to famous places in Kyoto such as Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, and Kiyomizu-dera.
